My Name is Stephen Strong.

I am presently a senior at Hickory Grove Christian School in Charlotte, NC. I am participating in the Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

The Beautillion is used as a vehicle to raise funds for scholarships, as well as build character, enhance positive moral and social growth, and leadership skills of young men moving into young adulthood. To be involved in this organization is a prestigious affair, and I feel honored to have been recommended, and selected to participate in the program.

I have been involved in several school, athletic, church, and community activities that have helped me grow as a student, leader, and young man. I am a member of the National Science Honor Society and HOSA (Future Health Professionals), and the Men’s Varsity Golf Team. I am also involved in BAM (Becoming A Man) ministry at The Park Church and have been a member of The First Tee of Greater Charlotte since I was five years old. Through these organizations and other activities, I have developed a strong commitment to leadership, service, education, and personal growth.

As I plan to graduate in 2027, I plan to attend college, further my education, and pursue my goal of playing collegiate golf while continuing to grow academically, personally, and professionally. I plan to study Business Marketing and pursue a career in Pharmaceutical Business.
