Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,

My name is Cameron A. Edwards, and I am currently a senior at Charlotte Teachers Early College. This year, I am more than proud to be a member of the Kappa Beautillion Millitaire Scholarship Fundraiser, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte.

The Kappa Beautillion Millitaire is a comprehensive mentoring program dedicated to the advancement of Black youth. It offers various opportunities, including fundraisers, college tours, community service, and empowerment initiatives. The program guides participants along a stable and fulfilling pathway, helping young men become well-rounded individuals while fostering a sense of community and brotherhood among their peers and mentors. Your support will help me attain a scholarship from the Kappa Foundation of Charlotte and directly promote my ongoing educational endeavors. I look forward to successfully completing college so that I can give back to my community, helping others realize their potential and achieve their dreams as well!

As a part of my studies at Charlotte Teacher's Early College, my experience with balancing high school and college classes has profoundly inspired me to strive for greatness. Whether I'm tackling unfamiliar subjects like Japanese or engaging with rigorous courses such as American History, I've learned the importance of discipline and time management. These skills will be crucial in achieving success in both the program and the fundraiser, as I intend to exemplify my determination throughout the entire process.

In addition to the Kappa Beautillion Millitaire, I am a member of various extra-curricular activities, and programs. These Include:

• Jack And Jill Of America, Queen City Chapter(2013-2025), also holding the appointed position of Nominating Committee chair, responsible for: qualifying potential candidates, election, and facilitating the election process(2024-2025)
• Wake Forest Launch Program Graduate(2024-2025)
• Broyhill leadership Program(2023-2025)

I also volunteer regularly at my church and currently work.

• Elevation Church Ekids Volunteer(2022-2025)
• Elevation Church Love Week Volunteer(2022-2025)
• Jimmy John's Cashier, Cook, and Call Receiver(2025)
