Dear Family and Friends,

I am presently a senior at Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, NC. I am honored to have been selected to participate in the Kappa Beautillion Militaire Scholarship Program, sponsored by the Kappa Foundation Charlotte and the Charlotte Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.

The Beautillion is a transformative platform that shapes the next generation of leaders. Through scholarship, fundraising, character development, and the promotion of strong moral values, the program empowers young men as they transition into adulthood with confidence, purpose and vision.

I am honored to have been selected to participate in this esteemed initiative. Your support will directly contribute to scholarships and vital resources that help young men like me grow into thoughtful, community-minded leaders.

My community service activities include:

  • 100 Black Men of Charlotte, Mentee

  • Providing meals at homeless shelter

  • Referee, Youth Basketball Program

  • Grier Funeral Services Attendant

  • NCDOT Adopt a Highway, participant

I am currently enrolled in the CTE pathways program which aligns with my passion for communication, strategy and innovation. This foundation will support my desire to pursue a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship after graduating from high school. It is my desire to attend a HBCU with a goal of becoming a licensed mortician.

Your support will allow me to earn a scholarship and help in my educational endeavors and the ability to give back to my community once successfully completing college.

The deadline for donations is April 26, 2026.

Thank you in advance for your generous donation and investment in my future!

Sincerely,

Beau Evan W. Bratton
