This summer I will be hiking Kilimanajaro with my sister as a charity hike. In 2014 my sister did some volunteer work in Tanzania at Tuleeni Orphanage and since then has stayed connected with the wonderful people there. This hike will support the Neema International Education Sponsorship Program (NIESP). Growing up with a family full of teachers I have seen how important education is and how empowering it can be. It is something I believe everyone should have access to it. Education isn't something that we should take for granted. My sister has talked about how in Tanzania the kids are so excited going to school, they make the most out of their opporutnity to learn because they know it is a prividelge and a bridge to changing their own lives.
Through NIESP each child receives a quality education, clothes, medical support and all of the supplies they need for school. We hope through the 4rd Annual Charity climb we will be able to provide even more children with the education they deserve and help them achieve all of their dreams.
All the money raised will go towards NIESP and the Climb up Kilimanjaro. Any little help is greatly appreciated. I am beyond excited and grateful for this opportunity, and that I will get to share the experience with my sister.
Thank you for support and prayers!
