Heartcross Life Ministry

I used to say "I will never leave DC, unless God tells me to". Then He did. I sold or gave away just about everything I owned and moved away to start my cross cultural full time ministry work. While working in different countries, I was asked "why do you work in XYZ country? There is a lot to be done here!" So right!! I think that too. Work to be done here and everywhere. So I go where God leads me. 

I have worked with at risk youth in DC, street kids in Cap-Haitian, Haiti, and women, children and young adults in Goma, DRC. I have a passion for teaching, preaching and discipleship. Although my daily work has included a lot of teaching, administrative work and creative projects, what I  really do  is sharing Christ’s love with those around me. It hasn’t been an easy road, my journey has had it’s ups and downs. I'm an  exhorter, and I love to build authentic relationships and encourage a life of choosing joy, regardless of circumstances. Some of my ministry responsibilities have included: 

• Instructing women design basics, quality production and brand management.
• Marketing and social media. Developing short documentaries for PR purposes.
• Teaching bible, English and leadership
• Discipleship, mentoring and church planting 
• Events coordination and cultivating local business relationships.
• Visitor trips and developing US partner relations.
• pioneering new ways to teach in rapidly changing cultural environments

I didn't leave my life and career in DC because I have so much to offer. I go where I go because I believe God wants us working together to strengthen, encourage, and empower one another to walk with freedom in His plans and purposes. 

With all this said, my passion is discipleship. Building relationships founded on the biblical truth of Jesus Christ and seeing God transform the lives of people He loves in the same crazy ways He transformed mine. Understanding positive identity and individuality, I believe, allows us to become who we were created to be.

I love my life. I love my work. My ministry is funded by donation only. Thank you to everyone who supports me. I am able to do my life’s work because of the generous financial contributions of people like you. Many of you who support me do not believe in the God I serve. I thank you all, no matter your belief, for putting your confidence in the faith I have for Jesus, to whom I devote my life.
