Medusa Sunrise

Welcome to our journey!  We are MEDUSA SUNRISE!  We are a team of amateur, but passionate musicians participating in Rock Roulette.  Some of us have never played these instruments before, but we'reenjoying the challenge and process.  Over the next month, we will learn our instruments, work together to write two original songs, prepare an exciting cover song, and perform all three at MotorCo during Rock Roulette's music festival on March 7th.  Please consider donating, follow along here and on Facebook, and attend the show at MotorCo on March 7th!

Our mission is to raise funds and awareness for Girls Rock NC.  Girls Rock NC is an organization that "empowers girls, women, and people of marginalized genders through creative expression and music."  Many of our band members have had children who have participated in Girls Rock NC, and it has changed their lives.  The funding will go towards scholarships to help offset the cost of a week of camp, as well as year-long programs.  These scholarships give children an opportunity they might not have otherwise to find an outlet and accepting environment.  

We're inspired and up for the challenge!
