The Blacks In Government Department of Labor Chapter (BIG-DOL) Scholarship Program was established in 1992 to provide financial assistance and encouragement to deserving graduating high school students in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area in the pursuit of higher learning.

Fundraising for the Scholarship Program is year long.  The number and amount of scholarships awarded in any given year is determined by donations from members and supporters as well as other fundraising events and/or activities. The program strives to reach its annual goal of awarding at least three chapter-sponsored scholarships.

Please make a tax-deductible donation to the Scholarship Program to assist with the education of outstanding high school students!
