Boomer's Big Rescue

We know your heart is completely melting looking at Boomer's big puppy dog eyes!  He is just the sweetest pup that has found himself in a cold cement run at a rural VA shelter.  Boomer has no idea how he ended up there, but the shelter staff found him as a stray.  He was likely wandering for quite some time alone because he was very happy to finally see people and other dogs.  Poor thing was probably so lonely and scared.  Shelter staff say he is super sweet with people and other dogs so we are sure he is getting some relief knowing that he doesn't have to fend for himself out in the world.  But a shelter is no place for a young dog and at 34 lbs, Homeward Trails knows he is the perfect size for many prospective adopters.  Getting him up to the DC area is pretty urgent though and we need your sponsorship to get Boomer to safety.  Please sponsor this handsome hound today!
