$500 goal

Latino Union is a non profit dedicated to defending the rights and dignity of contingent workers. Started by domestic workers in 2000, Latino Union has fought for labor rights by providing resources to individual workers and pressing for legislative change.

As we are all woefully aware, 2018 has been full of setbacks for both immigrants and workers. Let's make 2019 better. This holiday season, I hope to raise $500 to ensure that Latino Union can continue its mission of improving working and living conditions for all workers.

I am proud to extend a hand and invite you to give what you can. Each dollar makes a difference!

Your gift of $10 protects 30 nannies, caregivers and house cleaners from wage theft by distributing flyers about the Domestic Workers Bill of Rights.

Your gift of $25 sponsors one hour of outreach at street corner hiring sites, reaching 15 day laborers with immigrants rights information.

Your gift of $50 allows members to hand out 100 outreach postcards, connecting  100 potential members with Latino Union.

Your gift of $100 runs the Albany Park Workers Center hiring hall for one day.

Your gift of $250 sponsors a child development or elder care training, connecting 20 new potential members with the movement.

All donations are tax deductible!
