Hello beloved friends and family!
In case you don't know me well, let me introduce myself. My name is Brianna Rivera and I am currently a sophomore at Gordon College. I am studying Secondary Education and English Language and Literature but will soon be studying Christian ministries and Psychology. I am from Danvers, MA and have never traveled outside of the country before. I've had the privilege of meeting and talking to many people who travel the world doing ministry and missions but never thought that I'd be one of those people. It is always easier to believe God will sustain someone else and to not believe He will sustain you. But God has been consistently and so graciously showing me the art of completely trusting Him. While I've had my doubts about going into the complete UNKNOWN, I feel an immense calling upon my life to go to the nations and be a simple vessel used for the glory of God. I am not always confident in my ability to carry out everything the Lord has purposed for me, but I am definitely confident in who He is and what He can do.
SO...
My team and I will be going to Ghana from December 29th to January 12th to spread our Heavenly Father's love to young girls at an all girls camp. We will be reminding them of how special, loved, and beautiful they are in the Father's eyes. They are God's precious princesses and we want them to know that more than anything!
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" - Matthew 28:19-20 (NIV)
