Brittany Ellis
Transplant Type: Stem Cell
What if you were living on borrowed time?
Brittany Ellis is fighting for her life. Recently, she was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome. Receiving a cancer diagnosis was difficult for Brittany and her family. Doctors now say a stem cell transplant is critical to her survival.
During this difficult time, Brittany is grateful for the love and support of her husband, Paul, and their family and friends. Brittany and Paul have five beautiful daughters, and they are all thankful that she will be receiving a transplant and is on the road to recovery. She looks forward to recovering fully from her transplant and spending more time with her family and friends. She is ready to feel like herself again and to be able to resume a more active life. But right now, she needs your help.
Unfortunately, Brittany’s new life comes at a very high price.
The average bone marrow transplant costs over $400,000, and that is only the beginning. Even with insurance, which will cover the cost of her transplant, Brittany still faces significant expenses related to the procedure. Brittany had to stop working due to her illness and transplant. In addition, she has to provide support to a living donor who will incur substantial expenses for travel, food and lodging, further adding to the financial strain.
You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Brittany.
If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the National Foundation for Transplants, 3249 W. Sarazen’s Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125. Please be sure to write "in honor of Brittany Ellis” in the memo line.
Thank you for your generosity!
