As The Wren's Nest faces the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, we ask for your help in supporting our mission to celebrate the timeless legacy of the Brer Rabbit tales and promotes the art of storytelling in all of its contemporary forms. This includes creating and continuing new online programs, like our virtual storytelling.
We are the historic home of Joel Chandler Harris, the compiler of the Brer Rabbit stories and long-time journalist for the Atlanta Constitution. Established in 1913, we are the oldest historic house museum in the state of Georgia.
