Thank you to the first donor!
Thank you, Celia...a.k.a. Teté!
Since 2006 I have been donating my time to help with the coordination and logistics of Operation Rainbow's Stanford Team missions to various countries in Central and South America. Typically the planning begins in the spring and lasts until the fall. Months of preparation culminates in 6 days, in which a team of 25-30 people (surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, surgical technicians, etc.), make it possible to perform up to 30 pediatric orthopedic surgeries completely free of charge to both the patients and the host hospital.
The surgeries performed are life changing, as it was for Manuela, from Guatemala; you can learn more about her story in this video: Manuela's Dream
Please consider making a donation to make a child's dream come true.
