With Anti-Semitism growing at an alarming rate, Israel is the only country that is a safe haven for Jews.

On Jerusalem Day, Yom Yerushalayim, Israelis woke up to celebrate. Thousands of young people walked the streets of Jerusalem with their Israeli flags, joyously celebrating beautifully with song, but instead of joy it became a day of terrible violence in Israel as a barrage of rocket attacks began.

We condemn the Incitement by the Palestinian authority and Hamas that is stirring up the violence and unrest in Jerusalem and to the rocket attacks on Israel from Gaza. We pray that the Almighty will give good counsel and wisdom to the leaders of the country to lead us forward and from this great difficulty. We all pray for peace, that Hashem gives strength, wisdom and effectiveness to the soldiers of the IDF who defend the land, to do what needs to be done and to bring this violence to an end.

This little Federation has already built nine (9) bomb shelters which are used as community centers and schools during the day, and we are asking for funds to help complete one currently under construction in Ashbod, Israel. We need your help to complete the 10th bomb shelter that comes with a school.

The bomb shelter will be built in memory of Celeste Doliner Jacobson, who passed away in May 2021 at age 86. She was a longtime supporter and friend of our Federation, and our Jerry Doliner Food Bank is named in memory of her first husband.

Please help us help the children of Israel be safe when these rocket attacks occur.

The Jewish people will always strive, will always yearn, will always sing, and will pray for peace, for shalom. We here in America must help save the children of Israel. Please support our effort to complete the 10th bomb shelter.
