Support the Power of Music Campaign | Dec. 1-31
Music remains a constant in its power to bring joy, lift spirits, unite, inspire and educate us no matter the challenges we have faced this year.
Music is the reason the Georgia Symphony Orchestra began 70 years ago, and why we are continuing to live our mission and bring its many gifts to you, even while we remain apart.
Innovative and collaborative online series, such as Symphony in the City and Georgia’s Home for the Holidays, allow you to safely enjoy listening to free mini-performances by the GSO, GSO Chorus, GSO Jazz! and 30-plus leading local musical ensembles on your smartphone, tablet or computer.
However, responding to these challenges has come at a price. Our concert ticket revenue typically averages 13-18 percent of our annual operating budget and we rely on the generosity of corporations, foundations and individuals like you to fund the balance.
With our concert season on hold, our need for your support is even greater today.
Consider your donation as a remedy for the uncertainties we all face at this time. Your contribution will help the GSO continue to deliver the power of classical, choral and jazz music and youth music education to our community for years to come.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 toward our annual fund.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
