Callie is a beautiful 1 year old pointer mix who was sadly found as a stray in rural VA. This sweet girl endured scary nights alone with no safe place to sleep and days scrounging for food and water. Callie is lucky to be alive. She was found and brought into a rural VA shelter, where even though she is happy to have a roof over her head and regular meals, it is certainly not a home. Callie longs for someone to come forward and rescue her, but she is losing hope with every passing day. Homeward Trails does not want to leave this precious girl behind.
