I worked at Camp Jorn in the summer of 1991, and have been involved with camp ever since.  This is a magical place in the northwoods of Wisconsin, and we need your help sending kids in need for an experience of a lifetime.  The 2018 Strong Kids Campaign will give scholarships to children who would not have the ability to go to camp.

Camp Jorn YMCA has been serving youth and families since 1953!

Our mission is to build character, confidence and community through enriching outdoor experiences.

We believe that when we achieve our mission, we make a brighter future for communities:

  • When a child finds that he loves being outside more than in front of a TV
  • When a teen goes on a 7-day canoe trip and realizes that she can accomplish whatever she puts her mind to (like portaging a canoe!)
  • When a parent has a welcoming and safe place to bring their child while they work

…our community grows healthier, stronger, more productive.

We advance our cause by focusing on three priorities:

Youth Development - we give kids the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of caring adults who believe in their potential.

Healthy Living - Through positive role models, we give our kids the opportunity to be active, eat healthy and practice stress relieving techniques.  It all adds up to greater health and well-being in spirit, mind and body.

Social Responsibility - We work to inspire a spirit of service in each member of our Camp Jorn Family. We help each child learn and love what we can achieve by giving back together.

Our goal this year is to raise $350,000 to support resident camp, child care and day camp.

Together we can build a better us!

Your donation will support countless youth with stories like these:

  • A first-time resident camper, Tommy, sent a thank you note to us.  He loved his time at Camp Jorn and was especially happy that at camp – he learned to swim – an opportunity he didn’t have at home!
  • Bodie, a young man who has been a part of our child care program and day camp program for the last 6 years – and whose parents report, not once in those 6 years has Bodie wanted to leave Camp Jorn at the end of the day!

Please give generously to the 2018 Annual Campaign for Camp Jorn YMCA!

Your investment in us, allows our life changing work with youth and families to continue!
