The holidays provide time for gratitude and reflection- we are grateful for friends like you who help us remain relevant and available to all. We're asking you to join us in making a donation today November 27, 2018. So that we can continue making camp a better place for all. So children everywhere can enjoy our life-changing Resident Camp, Day Camp and Child Care programs. Your support makes our community stronger. Together we can make a difference in the lives of hundreds of children and their families.

Who We Are

Located in Manitowish Waters, WI on a 70+ acre peninsula, Camp Jorn YMCA, has provided boys and girls the opportunity to become part of a special community focused on friendship, acceptance, character values, self-discovery, and independence, for more than 60 years!

Why We Give

Here at Camp Jorn, we believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the wonder of summer outdoor programming. We and our donors are committed to providing this opportunity to children of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and incomes. When you donate to Camp Jorn you are making camp affordable for families that would otherwise not be able to benefit from our life changing programs and services. Thanks to the generosity of our donors we were able to help give the gift of camp to over 200 children during the summer of 2018. That is over 200 children that we were able to help impact the lives of in a positive and meaningful way. Together, we can change lives.

Resident Camp Break Down

Summer 2018

• We averaged 116 unique campers per week over the 6 weeks of Camp
• 56% of our camper population is from IL, 35% from WI and the remaining 9% come from various states
• 38% of the Resident Camp population was on some sort of scholarship assistance

• Total funds allocated for Resident Camp Scholarships in 2018 was $206,322

•  50 Military families received full scholarships to Camp Jorn totaling $57,125

Day Camp Break Down

Summer 2018

• We averaged 75 unique campers per week over the 12 weeks of Camp
•  42% from the local area (MW, Winchester, Presque Isle, Mercer, BJ, Arbor Vitae, Woodruff, LDF, Minocqua and Hazelhurst), 30% were from other areas of WI, 12% from IL and the remaining 16% from 12 other states
• 8.6% of the camper population was on some financial assistance.

• Total funds allocated for Day Camp Scholarships in 2018 was $9,650
