Little Care Bear is too tiny to be in scary shelter! This 3 month old lab mix was surrendered to a shelter in rural southern VA. She is just as sweet as can be and is so confused as to why she is in such a scary place with no one to love and comfort her. At such a young age, it is imperative that she gets proper care and socialization so that she grows up to be a happy and healthy dog. Adoption rates are already low and the fact that she is a black dog doesn't make it any better. Please don't let CareBear get looked over week after week. Homeward Trails knows they are the perfect rescue to take this sweet girl in, but we have to get her out of the shelter and up to the DC area first.
