After listening to feedback from women in our support group and on our boards, we are thrilled to announce our next fundraiser. We are raising money to send care packages to each newly diagnosed mother who contacts us. These care packets include a notebook with pen, folder, and 2 informational booklets about HDFN (one copy for her and one copy for her doctor). The care packets will cost $20 each to produce and we want to raise enough to fund 250 care packages.
Every woman should be set up for a successful pregnancy with accurate information about her baby's condition. By providing a second copy of our informational booklets, we are helping women not only advocate for their babies but also provide the latest information about this rare disease to health care providers. Together we can change the standard of care. Together, we can save lives.
Our mission is to prevent any harm, stillbirth or infant death caused by alloimmunization/HDFN. We are dedicated to providing patient advocacy, support and education while promoting research and improving healthcare practices for the condition.
