I'm excited to be a fundraiser for Care Resource on Give Miami Day! We're a health center dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of low-income, underserved, and uninsured individuals in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Our mission is to enhance health and overall quality of life–but we can't do it alone.
The cornerstone of our commitment is our Emergency Assistance Fund, that provides critical support like housing assistance, healthcare rides, and food to our most vulnerable patients. We served over 23,000+ individuals through 144,700 annual patient visits for healthcare in 2022. Of those visits, 33% were dedicated to addressing critical unmet needs, including housing, food insecurity, transportation, and other urgent concerns that have a significant impact on people's health and well-being.
