Six Puppies Desperately Need Our Help

These beautiful babies are lucky to be alive.  They were born under the roots of a tree in a backyard in Puerto Rico that looked more like a dump. When the puppies were taken by the local rescue, they were a mere 5 weeks old.  Their tiny bodies were infested with fleas, their gums were shut from anemia and they were getting weaker by the day.  They were starting to follow their mother into the dangerous streets and one actually disappeared before the rescue took place.  Unfortunately, Puerto Rico is facing very tough times and the puppies don't have a great chance of all being adopted.  The rescue is full and funds are so limited.  Homeward Trails would love nothing more than to get these 6 little ones safely to the DC area. They deserve a drastically different life than what they were born in to.  Please donate today, as transportation and care for a whole litter of tiny babies is quite an expense, but we know with your support, a new life awaits these adorable puppies.
