Help support tiger research in Nepal by Community Conservation's partner, tiger biologist Sam Helle.  She is tracking the tiger population between Chitwan and Bardia, which are two large national parks in Nepal, to see if tigers can travel between the protected sites.

While we are actively researching tiger connectivity between Chitwan and Bardia National Parks, we are also committed to building long-term, sustainable capacity in this region. Even after our short-term research is done, community and government stakeholders can continue monitoring wildlife.

For so long communities have been excluded from wildlife monitoring activities. We believe that including communities in monitoring and conservation of wildlife is critical. Working with Sam and our other partners across the globe is a key component to Community Conservation's mission of protecting local biodiversity in every village.

Help spread community-based conservation on #GivingTuesday! Community Conservation brings enthusiasm and information to local residents, highlighting the uniqueness of their area’s forests and wildlife, and then partners to protect them. No community we have approached has ever said no.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.

Community Conservation's Mission: In order to promote global biodiversity and sustainable land use, Community Conservation catalyzes, facilitates, and empowers local people to manage and conserve natural resources within the social, cultural, and economic context of their communities and facilitates widespread, global adoption of community-based conservation.
