Crocker Farm PGO Month of Giving 2023

The Crocker Farm Parent Guardian Organization (PGO) is a non-profit organization that serves two primary purposes in our school community: fun... and fundraising. 

The Month of Giving is our most important fundraiser of the year, and provides the bulk of the money the PGO uses to support the Crocker Farm community. Last year, in the month of November, we raised almost $6,000!  If you'd like to offer a Month of Giving matching gift challenge, please reach out to crockerfarmpgo@gmail.com for more information. 

The majority of the money raised this month will go to an $150 grant to each classroom and specials teacher. Centralized fundraising allows us to provide equitable access to the generosity of our community across grade levels. Without these funds, teachers and staff far too often end up paying for classroom supplies out of pocket. We will also help stock the “extra snacks” cabinet, and replace lost soccer balls, broken swings or other playground equipment, and help with the community garden infrastructure, as needed. 

Additionally, PGO will use these funds to organize and host community-building events. So far this year, we've offered a Welcome Pizza Party, and hosted our annual Coat Drive. An Election Day bake sale, a book giveaway, and various garden project events are in the works. Last year, we provided teacher appreciation treats, including a cookie buffet from Lemon Bakery, and a vegan treats spread from The Humble Peach! We're looking forward to being able to celebrate our teachers and staff again this year. 

It's truly an honor to belong to this generous, thoughtful, and caring community, and we thank you for all that you contribute, either via this fundraiser, or simply day to day as we work together to live out the Crocker CARES values of Cooperation, Accountability, Respect and Empathy.
