Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals is NOT the Dreram Act, YET it is a great opportunity.
It will allow people between the age of 15 - 30, who came to the US as children, an opportunity to get a wwork permit and be protected from deportation for 2 years. It is only for persons with no criminal record, and persons who have completed or are in school.
It is estimated there are between 2500 - 7500 such persons in Minnesota. MIFN is working with other Immigration groups and attorneys to help all eligible people apply.
Please help us as we have been swamped by requests for information. We have been involved with local workshops and will be helping across the state, and possibly the region to help inform and assist people in this important process.
