Hello everyone, my name is Charles "Chance" Woods.  Not too long ago I was asked to represent Herrnstein Auto Group in an amazing fundraiser.  I love kids, and love to dance, so this is perfect for me! Big Brothers Big Sisters needs support from our community if we want to change the lives of our youth!

A little about me, I am 32 years old, a husband, and a father to a young man Charles Lee Woods.  I am currently a Sales Manager for Herrnstein Hyundai.  I graduated from Waverly Highschool in 2009.  I went to Marietta College, where I studied Petroleum Engineering, I graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Law Enforcement and became a Law Enforcement Officer in Pike County then continued my Law Enforcement Career in Ross County.

As a former Law Enforcement Officer within our community, I have seen the troubles that our youth have to deal with and are pressured into doing.  Chillicothe, Ross, and Pike County may not be HUGE areas, but problems still exist, and it's up to us to make that difference.  I have seen firsthand what some children go through at home.  Some children love to just get away for a little while or just get to school because that may be the only place where they can get a warm meal, or a cold drink of water.  I want everyone to stop and think about that.

Growing up in a high poverty area can affect something in your heart, and you should want to do something about it! Big Brothers Big Sisters Foundation is an AMAZING Organization! When you support Big Brothers Big Sisters you are supporting your community and you get to help change the lives of the young children of our community.  When children and teens have the influence of a caring adult, they are more likely to avoid risky behaviors and to focus on academics. Today’s youth face a variety of challenges and being matched with a Big Brother or Big Sister can help them navigate these challenges and reach their full potential.

Please, if anyone knows any businesses or business owners that you think would be willing to donate to the awesome organization and help me give back to the community, please let me know! The organization as a whole is trying to raise 80 thousand Dollars this year and I want that to be doubled! Let's blow the roof off this year!
