UPDATE ON MOMMA (1.1.2024)

Happy New Year to every single one of you!

As we head into another New Year we take a moment to reflect on all the blessings we have been given. From good eats, to great moments and especially radiating smiles, most of which you all have experienced or been a part of. We additionally take time to celebrate and reflect on the blessing that YOU all have been to us. From your prayers, love and support we would not be who we are and we are extremely grateful for it.

To give some insight on current conditions on Momma’s health, we can happily report that there isn’t much to report at all! There have been no signs of rejection, no setbacks, and thankfully no hospital stays, etc. This may have been the first time year in several years we went with no hospital stays and we are completely grateful for it! Here’s too many more like this!! We continue to thank God for all of you who have had our backs as you mean so much to us. May He bless you and yours in the coming next year in profound ways you would have NEVER imagined. He’s certainly done it for us!

“14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”

-    Psalms 50:14-15 (KJV)    -

Love, Blessings, & other indescribable appreciation,

On Behalf of the Singh Family {Chandra, Dexter, Andrew, Steven & Sam}

Chandrawati Singh

Transplant Type: Kidney

What if you were living on borrowed time?

Chandrawati Singh has been given a second chance at life. In December 2014, she was diagnosed with heart failure. Her condition continued to worsen, and she had to have a left ventricle assist device (LVAD) implanted in June 2015. The LVAD took a toll on her kidneys and eventually led to kidney failure. Chandrawati was forced to begin enduring regular dialysis treatments which left her exhausted and impacted her quality of life even further. Doctors said a heart and kidney transplant was critical for her survival. Luckily, she received her transplant on June 16, 2021!

Despite her recent health obstacles, Chandrawati is grateful to have a loving and supportive family.  Her husband of more than 36 years, Dexter, and their three sons have been by her side every step of the way. Chandrawati looks forward to fully recovering from her transplant so that she can live her life again. She is ready to get back to cooking, gardening, being active in her church, and spending time with her loved ones, but right now, she needs your help.

Unfortunately, Chandrawati’s new life comes at a very high price.

Even though Chandrawati’s surgery has already taken place, and her insurance will cover a portion of the transplant costs, she still faces significant medical expenses related to the surgery. She will continue to need a lifetime of follow-up care and daily anti-rejection medications, which are as critical to her survival as the transplant itself.

You can help by making a tax-deductible donation to the National Foundation for Transplants in honor of Chandrawati.

If you'd prefer to send your gift by mail, please send it to the National Foundation for Transplants, 3249 W. Sarazen’s Circle, Suite 100, Memphis, TN 38125.  Please be sure to write "in honor of Chandrawati Singh” in the memo line.

Thank you for your generosity!
