Hi! I'm Charis Gibbs and I am super excited to be heading down to Belize to share the love of Jesus with the wonderful people there this May, with Sozo! I've always had a passion for people and sharing the gospel and this past year God has really laid it on my heart to take action! I can't wait to be the hands and feet of Christ and to see what He is going to do in and through me!
While we are down there, my team and I will be partnering with Bold Hope to complete construction projects and provide clean water to the community, but our main focus will be helping at a Vacation Bible School and just loving on the kids. I cannot wait to connect, pray with and love on these wonderful people.
As our team gets ready to go to Belize and serve. I ask for your prayer support. Please be praying for the people we will meet and that God would soften their hearts to hear what He has to say to them. Pray for unity and strength for our team over the next few months as we prepare for the trip and that while in Belize we would be unified in our mission to share the Gospel as we are meeting the spiritual and physical needs of the Belize people. Please also pray for safe traveling mercies there and back and for health of the team while there.
In addition to prayer, I am in need of financial support. The total cost of the trip is $2000, and I can only reach that goal through donations. I would greatly appreciate it if you would prayerfully consider supporting me financially to help raise this sum of money. No matter the size of the donation it will help me in my journey to share the love of Christ in Belize!
