Greetings, I think you will agree that it is extremely difficult to raise a kid today! In my young days, my major concern was the local bully, and that normally involved fisticuffs rather than guns. Moreover, Lord help me if my parents learned of my behavior being contrary to their teaching environment. Well, today, with the Internet, Facebook, TikTok, 24-hour telephone access, etc., raising kids is an uphill battle. That is why it is so important to promote and reinforce positive activities for young kids. Our Achievement Foundation supports positive activities for kids ages 6 – 18 and seeks to provide a college scholarship to as many kids as possible, boys and girls. Additionally, we extend our care to the community through initiatives such as our annual distribution of Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets and support for local women's shelters.
Once again, I come to you, asking for your invaluable support for the many impactful programs performed through the dedicated efforts of the Hampton-Newport News (VA) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and sponsored by our Achievement Foundation. Your "tax-deductible" donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in the lives of those we serve. I encourage you to read "Our Story" below about how impactful your support has been. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you may have.
