Club 121

Club 121 is a giving circle which raises funds specifically for The Fishing School (TFS), a DC-based nonprofit providing high-quality afterschool, summer, and parent engagement programs for over 400 students in underserved communities. 

We welcome donations from individuals who attended one of the country's 121 Historically Black Colleges or Universities and understand the critical importance of integrating college into youths’ outlook.

Many TFS instructors attended HBCUs, setting examples for our students on what they can achieve and what it takes to get there.

Funds raised support HCBU-themed activities and college-preparation workshops, activities, and field trips that help students deepen their understanding of colleges/universities and what it takes to succeed there.

The Fishing School prepares public school elementary and middle school students for success in high school and life by improving their academic performance and life skills; and engaging them and their parents in intensive, multi-year, and research-based out of school time and parent engagement programs and activities.
