Ruffles Hernia Surgery

Ruffles is a sweet cat who came to Homeward Trails with a previous bilateral hernia that had been recently repaired.  Within a few days of her arrival, she developed a painful open wound on her abdomen which risked infection.  She was rushed to the vet who explored the wound and determined that she had a new hernia  which required immediate surgery to repair.  The surgery was successful and this friendly Tortie will be strong and healthy after a few weeks of relaxation and recuperation.  Please consider a donation today to help cover the cost of Ruffle's hernia surgery and in-patient care at the veterinary clinic so that we can continue to help other animals with medical emergencies.
