Support Elite Deaf Athletes and Coach OJ on their Journey to the 2025 Deaflympics!

By donating today, you can help send elite athletes and Coach OJ to the XXV Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan, in November 2025. Coach OJ is the distance coach and a two-time Deaflympian himself (1981 and 1985). OJ competed in events from 5,000 to the marathon and has been inducted into the Maine Running Hall of Fame as well as the Deaf American Distance Runners Hall of Fame. He coached his first team in the 2022 Deaflympics held in Brazil—OJ’s experience as a coach ranges from Division 1 and 3 colleges and multiple high schools.

Unlike many national teams, USA Deaf Track & Field does not receive government or major sponsor funding. Athletes and coaches must rely on the generosity of donors to cover essential expenses, including travel, accommodations, meals, and insurance. OJ needs to raise $ 7,500. to make this trip a reality.
