South Butler Community Library cannot stand still.  We are energized by you!  Our success depends on the support of all community members, library visitors, volunteers, donors, and program partners.  While we receive funding from the state, our 6 local municipalities, and our Friends of the Library group, the library board and staff must fundraise for 30% of our budget each year.  Pleae help us us achieve our goal.  

Our role as a community center that provides free storytimes, events, programs, workshops, and speakers strengthens our community by building community connections and providing tools for lifelong learning.  We encourage every Butler County resident to visit the library and benefit from our offerings of both physical and digital materials to borrow, free Wifi, and free computer use.

During 2022, we added 35 new parking spaces, played our first Mini Golf course inside the library, had 400 SummerQuest participants including children & adults, started a Chess Club, hosted a live music stage during the Arts Festival, and celebrated the local German heritage with our 4th annual Booktoberfest featuring German food and music.

When we meet and exceed our fundraising goal, we are able to increase our:
