Cool Whip is a handsome 3 year old Lab mix with a heart full love and no where to share it! This sweet boy has been surrendered to a rural VA shelter simply for his innocent joy of chasing after the neighbor’s chickens. This sweet boy, once a cherished member of a family, now sits in a cold kennel, his hopeful eyes reflecting the deep sadness of abandonment. Homeward Trails is working to raise funds to rescue Cool Whip and bring him to a safe foster home in the DC area, where he can finally find the acceptance and affection he so desperately deserves. Every donation brings Cool Whip one step closer to a new beginning, away from the stark confines of the shelter and into the warmth of a home where he will be loved for who he truly is.
