What Our Organization Does

Cozad Child Care provides families in Cozad and the surrounding area with high‑quality childcare for infants and children ages 6 weeks to 8 years. For 35 years, our center has been a trusted, stable, and nurturing place for children to learn, grow, and thrive. Many of our staff members have been with us for 10 to 35 years, offering consistency, experience, and deep care that families rely on.

We are more than a daycare we are an early childhood education center committed to helping children build confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills that prepare them for school and life.

How We Help the Community

Reliable childcare is essential for a strong local economy. By providing safe, high‑quality care, we allow parents to work, businesses to hire and retain employees, and families to remain rooted in Cozad. Our center directly supports workforce stability, family well‑being, and long‑term community growth.

We also give back by supporting local events, including donating a basket each year for Casino Night because we believe in strengthening the community that supports us.

We are working toward a major capital goal of $100,000 to update our kitchen and HVAC system critical improvements that will enhance safety, efficiency, and comfort for children and staff.
