Creamsicle’s Pancreas Needs Help

It’s been a long time trying to figure out what is ailing kitten Creamsicle. He is a fun loving, active and uber-cuddly cat. But from day one of his arrival has suffered from very loose poops. Worms? Nope. Giardia? Nope. Coccidia? Nope. Well, he did have an unusual protozoa, but after he was treated for that, the diarrhea persisted.

Still, we hunted for his cure. Food allergies or sensitivity? Nope. Now we finally know - Creamsicle has a pancreatic enzyme deficiency. He needs to get a supplement, weekly B12 shots, and get a special diet. We will need to retest to be sure all system are working right after he’s been on this regiment for a few months.
