College Scholarship for my Mentee Sam!

Our mentee Sam is a bright, funny, and energetic kid, and always makes us smile. He has been a part of DREAM for 4 years, and has formed strong bonds with all of us as his mentors. Sam has come to really cherish the time he spends with DREAM every Friday afternoon, and the feeling is mutual.  He loves running around with his brothers and telling us about the TV shows and books he's currently watching/reading. We all have loved seeing Sam grow up, and want him to be able to follow his dreams, whatever they may be.

Without the funding support, his chance of pursuing these dreams after high school is low. Just 9% of youth from low-income families receive a 4-year degree. Even when they are accepted into college, after accounting for federal student loans, they cannot afford 70% percent of schools. I’m hopeful you can help us raise funds that will help close the gap between the federal loans Sam will be able to receive and the likely cost of tuition.
