Cross Your Paws is celebrating 5 years of saving lives this year! 

Why donate to Cross Your Paws? 

We have found loving homes for over 4500 dogs locally in the last 5 years! When you see your neighbor walking their dog down the street it just may be a Cross Your Paws dog making their family complete! Our low adoption fee that covers spay/neuter, any medical issues at that point, a lifetime microchip and more allows families to bring a dog into their home without a huge financial burden.  

We have over 200 fosters throughout the greater Pittsburgh area. You may have a loved one that chooses to open their home to a Cross Your Paws dog in need! The fosters are the true hero's here. They bring dogs into their homes from medical emergencies, local owner surrenders, rural shelters in high-kill areas, and local humane cases. They nurse the dogs back to health. Help them rediscover the joy of just being a dog and not just trying to survive and then help them on their way to making a family overjoyed to bring a new family member into their home. 

We have saved over 1000 dogs just this year and we can only do so with your help. We are 100% volunteer, every penny goes to the dogs! Please join us in our mission to save lives! We have an amazing team of volunteers some of which putting in more hours than a full-time job all for the love of dogs and one goal in mind, Saving lives!  Thats exactly what we are doing and plan to continue doing so. We aim to grow each year to help more dogs. Our next large goal is building a shelter for humane cases and emergencies.
