In 2011, my son Finn was born with Down syndrome. In 2012, I got a group of local dads together to play in the Special Olympics NJ Snow Bowl flag football tournament at MetLife Stadium. Our team, the Shark Finns, is named after Finn. Nine years later, we are still going strong and doing our best to raise money and awareness for this amazing organization. Please consider a donation to the Special Olympics NJ, which supports the 25,000 youth and adult athletes with intellectual disabilities in their training, competition, and success on the field and life, including the Special Olympics Young Athletes program at the Community Center in Cranford for children with special needs from 2-7 years old.

Looking for an opportunity to run off the extra helping of stuffing,  mashed potatoes, and apple pie? Join us on the Memorial Field Track for a 5K run/walk (about 13 laps) or run your favorite personal 3.1 mile course as a virtual 5K.  Registration details to follow.
