How Your Donations Help! (ft. Hippo)

Update posted 2 years ago

When you donate to the Saving Pets Challenge, you are helping us give pets a second chance at forever, especially the ones who need a little more care than the others. Hippo is one of those pets! When Hippo came to us, we found out that she had been caught in the crossfire of a gunshot and had a bullet wound in her face. She was rushed to the vet where she had to have surgery to get the bullet removed. Thankfully, she came out of surgery just fine and has been healing ever since. Now, she's looking for a new place to call home. And it's all thanks to your donations that she gets to do just that. If you want to help save the life of a pet in need, donate today

We have thousands of pets that come through our shelter doors every year. While some of those pets just need a few vaccines and a spay/neuter surgery in order to be adopted by their new families, there are others who require a little extra care--ones that also deserve a never-ending love of a family. These pets can come to us with broken limbs, positive heartworm tests, missing fur, cuts and abrasions and so much more. They, too, deserve the best shot at a new forever home and we want to give that to them. Your donations will go toward lifesaving care for these special pets. They can cover things from long hospital stays to important surgeries to necessary medications and vaccinations. Thanks to those donations, pets like Belle (top left; terrified and unsocialized), Jasper (top right; FELV+), Syndrome (bottom left; pelvic fracture), and Hippo (bottom right; gunshot wound to face) are all able to heal and are now looking for their forever homes. Keep an eye on our social media pages and sign up for our newsletter in order to receive updates about some of the pets in our care that your donations will be helping. And donate today to save a life.
