Dana Griffith's #GivingTuesday Fundraiser

Many of you know that I lead the K-12 Program for HealthMPowers, a nonprofit that’s worked hard over the past 20 years to improve the health of children and families in Georgia. 

As we continue to deal with the current public health crisis, your support is critical to make sure families have access to nutritious foods and physical activity. We know that can prevent chronic diseases and offset the impact of COVID-19.

Please stand with me and make an investment in this work. Only together can we can ensure all children are healthy, nourished, active and ultimately empowered to chart their own paths to achieve their dreams. 

An investment in HealthMPowers means families will have the tools they need to put nutritious meals on the table. It means schools, early learning centers and afterschool programs will have the resources needed to greet and serve students fresh, healthy foods and innovative ways to get active during these trying times. And it means communities will be able to provide access to fresh fruits, vegetables and physical activity opportunities.

Over the last 20 years, HealthMPowers has grown from serving eight schools and 8,761 students to serving 800 schools and centers and approximately 511,424 students today. Be a part of this story during this exceptional time. We need you in this work.
