Getting the Band Back Together for the Holiday Season!
Team DCAgSupportsCAFB,
Back in April the DC ag community raised more than $21,000 (providing about 53,000 meals) for the Capital Area Food Bank in a little over a week. Thank YOU!
A couple of our colleagues have reached out asking about opportunities to help this holiday season.
The DCAGSUPPORTSCAFB fundraising page is still live and the need remains. Your collective generosity, past and present, is appreciated!

Agricultural Industry Colleagues-
We hope this note finds you safe and healthy during this massive challenge for our community and country.
We've been thinking a lot about this quote from Mr. Rogers: "When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.'"
COVID-19 is scary. The Capital Area Food Bank is helping. We can help them.
If you find yourself in the position to give, would you please do so?
CAFB serves people in DC, Maryland AND Virginia. CAFB is still conducting its Pop-up Pantries, Senior Program and To-Go Meals for Children.
For more information, please go to: https://www.capitalareafoodbank.org/covid19response/
There are many ways to help: Go big, give what you can, or help spread the word.
Thank YOU for considering!
Sincerely,
James Carstensen, Bobby Frederick, Sarah Gallo, Karis Gutter, Tom Hance, T.A. Hawks, Christy & Mike Seyfert, Eric Steiner & Lisa Van Doren
P.S. CAFB is a FOUR-STAR Charity (Ranked by Charity Navigator)
