COVID-19 has hit our country with a strong blow, and we are all feeling the effects, even our animals.  As many businesses are forced to layoff their employees, reduce staff, and temporarily close their doors, our budgets are adversely affected.  The revenue we have come to depend on to care for our animals is diminishing.  We've had to cancel fundraisers that we rely on annually.  We are so grateful to participate in this virtual fundraiser and we are excited to give our donors a fun and SAFE way to continue supporting us in this difficult time.  The future is uncertain and a bit scary.  However, we know there will be a time when we are able to open our doors back up to the animals who need us and we want to be ready.  A financial cushion will allow us to allocate resources without hesitation.  It will allow us to continue saving every. single. life..    We anticipate a very hard kitten season since we have not been able to spay/neuter for over a month now (and likely another 4-6 weeks before we are able).  Kittens are the most vulnerable and take the most resources to save. In 2019 we achieved a 94% save rate for cats at 98.5% save rate for dogs.  COVID-19 will not stop us from us achieving our life saving goals.  Our community has ALWAYS risen to the challenge and we know you will step up now, when our animals need you the most.  Our fundraising goal is $3,000.  We can do this.  Every donation counts.  No amount is too small, or large.
