Desperate Mama looking for joy

Beyond just having to scrounge for her next meal, Nani's suffering is unimaginable. She was found in the yard of someone with mental illness, in a severe state of malnutrition. We don't know how many more days or hours she would have survived. 

To top it all off? She was found with her litter of 9 puppies who she was also trying to provide for as her body was shutting down. It's hard to see how at only 20 pounds she could have carried and delivered 9 puppies, but she did. 

We can't erase her suffering, but we can help her now. She needs continued treatment for the malnutrition and other medical issues. But she also needs to feel loved and taken care of. We have the opportunity to bring her to Homeward Trails, but we need your help to do it.
