Devon Martin - Stark Naked

My name is Devon Martin. I am a wife, mother of 3 and a competitive equestrian. I have been at Stark for over 3 years now and am a consistent and happy client. I have watched the past Stark Naked participants with aw. This year as I am fully in peri-menopause, I have decided to go for it. I am tired of my hormones controlling me. I realize this stage of my life is a natural progression of aging….but I am wanting to feel empowered and in control. By participating in Stark Naked, I hope to learn how to eat right and exercise so I can to put my body and mind at its optimal fighting “weight” to ease into this time of my life with strength and grace. As well as getting healthier I am excited to have chosen New Directions for Women in Costa Mesa as my charity. New Directions for Women is an addiction treatment program that treats women, pregnant women and women with children. By providing gender-specific addiction treatment services that are family centered, NDFW provides and promotes healthy parenting, prevent domestic violence, and assist in family reunification. NDRW is very near and dear to my heart as it is a safe place for women and women with children to get sober and learn to live without alcohol and drugs.
