AWEC End-of-Year Fundraiser 2021

For AWEC entrepreneurs, adapting to the “new normal” of 2021 has been a test of resilience and creativity. Small business owners across Africa have innovated in their products, services, supply chains, and value propositions to sustain their businesses through unprecedented times. We have witnessed these innovations firsthand, with AWEC entrepreneurs relying on each other for community support, creative problem solving, and applied learning opportunities. 

Every day, we equip African women entrepreneurs with the critical business skills and network of support that build resilient and sustainable businesses. Our digital-first, collaborative learning model continues to transform the lives and businesses of more than 1000 women, including entrepreneurs like Aminata, who increased her company’s revenue by 180% and more than doubled her employee headcount after completing her AWEC year.
