We as police officers are always getting praised for taking on a profession and lifestyle that could result in us making the ultimate sacrifice.  We all do it with honor, integrity and compassion.  What we tend to leave out is the survivors of loved ones that made the ultimate sacrifice made the exact same sacrifice only not with their lives.  They are left with sadness, confusion, questions, emptiness and the list continues.  This is a way to honor them as being the true backbone of what makes this profession successful and what makes us successful.  I know for a fact, if I didn't have the support of my family and friends, it would be extremely hard to do this job everyday.  For those of you visiting this page, supporting me and this fundraiser and for supporting the families of fallen heroes, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
