Dress A Girl Around the World in Etown supplies dresses, dolls and hope to girls who are in need or at risk for human trafficking.

Every week a dozen or more ladies volunteer their time at the Etown Sewing Studio to make dresses.  We rely on donations of funds and fabric for our mission to dress little girls with dignity to offer them hope against human trafficking.

We never charge for our dresses and they are hand carried to little girls who are the least of these.

Each dress is made with sturdy 100% cotton fabric suitable for little girls.  All of the seams are serged and the double layer pocket has a Dress A Girl Label attached.  All of the dresses must be well made and as cute as possible.

We include dolls if requested.

Some Human Trafficking Awareness:
  • Human Trafficking is the second largest criminal enterprise in the world, after drug smuggling and arms dealing
  • A child is trafficked every 30 seconds
  • According to estimates, approximately 80% of trafficking involves sexual exploitation, and 19% involves labor exploitation.
  • The average age of a young woman being trafficked is 12-14 years old
  • 1.2 million children are brought into slave trade each year
  • If we educate them and their parents/guardians they are less likely to be deceived.
  • Click here for a brochure about Sex Trafficking.  We serve any girl at risk or in need.  We believe everyone is worthy of love and respect.

We are committed to an anti-discrimination policy in all of its programs and services. We are consciously and proactively inclusive of all areas of diversity including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, socioeconomic status, marital status, language, disability, or immigration status.
