Duke is Desperate to Get Out of His Cage

Duke is a strikingly handsome 2 year old lab mix that has found himself at a rural VA shelter due to no fault of his own.  Duke's life hasn't been easy thus far, but all that is in the past and he is ready to put it all behind him.  Unfortunately, Duke just stares at metal cage bars these days hoping that a new family will come by to adopt him.  Day after day, he is overlooked and his future is becoming more glum. The shelter staff do their best to care for him but they aren't able to do more than the basics like giving him food and water and cleaning his cage.  Duke deserves so much more in life.  This is truly a life reset for him and Homeward Trails is promising to do their best to make his rescue happen.  We can't do it without your help though.  Please sponsor Duke and make all his dreams come true!
