Thank you for donating to my page! This November, I am participating in the Inside Out Fitness Challenge for Justice to help support the work of the Arizona Justice Project.
About the Challenge
Inside Out is a virtual fundraising fitness challenge that supports the work of the Arizona Justice Project. See if you have what it takes to complete 5 fitness challenges inspired by the exercise routines of our wrongfully imprisoned clients. All registered participants will receive one challenge per day starting on Monday, November 16th and ending on Friday, November 20th. For these 5 days in November, we will be joining these individuals in their daily exercise routines from the outside.
The funds raised from the Inside Out Fitness Challenge for Justice will go towards achieving freedom for our innocent and wrongfully imprisoned clients in Arizona, as well as making much-needed criminal justice reforms.
About the Arizona Justice Project
Arizona Justice Project's mission is to seek justice for the innocent and wrongfully imprisoned. The AJP is the only 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the state of Arizona that is dedicated to identifying wrongly convicted individuals and helping them secure their freedom. To do this work, the AJP partners with pro bono attorneys across the state, as well as with investigators, expert witnesses, and the ASU Post-Conviction Clinic. The AJP advocates for criminal justice reforms to make the Arizona criminal justice system more fair for all, and provides re-entry services to its clients.
There is an ongoing need for the AJP’s work. On an annual basis, the AJP receives approximately 400 new requests for help, maintains 30-40 active cases at any given time, and has nearly 100 cases in line for review.
